Melaleuca quinquenervia (Chemotype LN)

Description:

nerolina.jpgLike Australian Niaouli, Nerolina is extracted from the leaves and terminal branchlets of a selected chemotype of the Broad-leaved Paperbark, Melaleuca quinquenervia. Equal parts of linalool and Nerolidol give this oil a clean, green, mildly woody aroma, with very distinctive lavender/lilac notes.

Its main uses are in aromatherapy and cosmetics. It is a valuable blending oil with the ability to “lift” ordinary aromas through small additions to the blend.

In cosmetics and perfumery, Nerolina can be very cost effective, and it can be successfully used as an adjunct to the top grade lavender oils.
